The Hunter Writers Centre (in Newcastle, Australia) has created the website onefifty.com.au calling for Australians under 30 to email microstories up to 150 words in length, or sms micro ministories up to 150 characters in length, to the group. The project's co-ordinator, Micky Pinkerton, sells the tight space as a tool to teach young writers to edit themselves.
