I'm sorry that I am holding up this project. Right now, work and family have to have first call on every minute. If anyone wants to pick up and go on without me, I won't be offended. Thanks for patience, all.

Sorry that I've been AWOL for so long. I'm going to blame it on life going crazy, but for me that's situation normal. Family needs and extra work these needs spawned kept me away, not a lack of desire to join this conversation. I know Elen didn't care for my bringing in Oromë, and that Tolkien wrote...

This board is quiet, but it looks like some of you are still watching Elen's posts on the episodes. Speak up and tell us what you think. A good conversation will keep us all warm now that winter's hit -- at least in Colorado.

Elen neglected to mention the amount of time she puts into each script correcting my dialogue. If it were not for her, these Elves would sound like they just stepped out of Brooklyn or Belfast. The thing I like best about Tolkien's writing is that it does not feel like fantasy to me. The characters ...

Some of us just can't let anything lie unfinished, especially when there are great characters to play with.

Most of these scenes had more than one of us at a time working on them. I remember working with you on the Council scene. Wish now we'd all signed our work.

Comments on the (abandoned) bridge film

I am loving the chance to reread this script. Elen's characterization and SF's descriptions of battle scenes and nasty, ugly, bad-guy homes really made this fun writing. Odd thing is, while reading the Dol Guldor siege I remembered what I was reading while working on that scene. Now I've gotta go ba...

Thank you so much for giving us this, Al. I loved playing and realized just how much I'd forgotten or just did not pay attention to when I read the books the first few times. I'd definitely be in for another game some time in the future.

That's an easy one! It was TA 2911. I remember that because the numbers add up to 13, for sure a bad sign.

I posted the last part of Season 4 Episode 6, and I'm hoping some of you will give your opinions on it. It may need a little explanation from a canon point of view, since the material is not in any of the books. Yes, it's pretty much fanfic but I had my reasons for writing it and for the relationshi...

The History of the Silmarils- Season 4, Episode 6, Last Scen

Note: This scene would have concluded Season 4 in our original version. It leads nicely into the drama of Season 5, sets up lots of expectations in our fans, and gives direction to a relationship that has (hopefully) been keeping part of the fan base hanging in anticipation for a bit. [Camera open o...

The scene in the Halls with Lúthien always gets me in the guts. You wrote that one powerfully, Elen.

OK, this is a guess based on size and stupidity (mine, not the Trolls). I'm going to say smash them and eat them.

(fingers crossed)

First, I love "precipice" as a mispronunciation for our little guy. Hey, he's saying his family is going over a cliff. No doubt it feel that way in the household at times, especially with mother stuck in bed. Take mother out of the picture and the kids run wild and dad can't find anything....

Mice! I'm a little miffed, but not bad enough to say "Rats!" yet. I'll get it next time around, if the game goes that long.
